A medical practitioner with a love of aviation and aviation medicine

Private pilot with a mainly fixed-wing general aviation background as well as aerobatic, gliding, ultralight / microlight, parachuting, parapente, rotary wing, and hang-gliding experience.

Currently employed as Principal Medical Officer with the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority. Previously with the Royal Australian Air Force, mainly at the Institute of Aviation Medicine and concluding that relationship with a brief tour as Commanding Officer.

Established, and maintains, the aviation medicine home page complex of web-pages and the Aeromed-List mailing list.
